Fire department prepares to heat things up with annual BBQ event

Lyndsay Salb, left, and Mary Cahoon, representatives from Disaster Kleenup, were in Kuna last week to present Wendi Tillman and Captain John Charlton of the Kuna Rural Fire District with a check, for the fourth year running,  to help support the fire department’s annual BBQ fundraiser, held during Kuna Days, Aug. 3-4. The event, which includes food, a dunk tank, auction, raffle and more, helps sustain the community burn-out fund and also allows for the purchase of additional equipment to support the fire department.
