Kuna Library: ‘Things that go Bump in the Night’ a hit with parents and kids alike

6:37 pm July 3rd, 2012

Last week the Kuna Library hosted a spectacular program with guest speaker Adare Evans from the Idaho Fish and Game Department.  Adare, who is an expert on Idaho wildlife, gave a presentation on the state’s nocturnal animals.  Kids and parents alike were riveted.  They learned to identify sounds of different creatures of the night and learned interesting facts about many different Idaho animals.  Afterward, the kids were able to get up close and explore in a hands-on display of taxidermy animals.  From mountain lions to skunks, there were many fascinating creatures.  We appreciated Adare for donating her time to help educate the families in our community.

Don’t forget to join us next week as we celebrate America at the library.  We will be closed on Wednesday July 4, so make sure to come on Tuesday to help us celebrate.  We’ll see you at the library.
