Kuna Senior Center
We offer our condolences to everyone who has had losses due to the Kuna fires and to those who are suffering from respiratory problems due to the smoke. We pray this is not a sign of what rest of the summer will be like!
Our Kuna senior trip to the Nampa Senior Center was an enjoyable trip. The ten Kuna seniors who made the trip were graciously welcomed at the door upon their arrival. Their table was chosen to go through the lunch line first. Thank you, Nampa Senior Center for your excellent hospitality.
Thursday, July 19 will be our next senior trip. Our destination will be the New Plymouth Senior Center. Watch for more information on this trip, as the time gets closer.
The July 13 will be our next senior bingo morning from 11 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
Please, do not bring large bills to pay for senior bingo and/or lunches. Our center keeps limited cash on hand; large bills have been cutting us short on being able to make change for those who pay cash for their lunches.
Thirty-six people attended our Saturday night bingo.
Regular payouts were $20, Bonanza paid out $50, Black-Out paid out $58.
Progressive bingo is up to $40.Thank you to all who supported our center with your presence. Friday, June 29, the blood pressure clinic will be at our center.
Happy birthday to Gene Holcomb – June 29.
PERSPECTIVES ON AGING:
Forget the health food, I need all the preservatives I can get.
If you laugh a lot, when you get older, your wrinkles will be in the right places.
