Club members participated in Clean Up Kuna, pulling weeds and picking up trash, and built and entered a float in the Meridian Dairy Days parade to promote milk and 100 years of 4-H.
The group has also donated canned food to the Kuna Food Bank, collected soda can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, helped sort food items for the Idaho Food Bank, and participated in small community service projects as individuals. Club members had a great time with these events and will hopefully participate again next year.
The Kaveman Kritters are looking forward to showing their livestock and other projects at the Canyon County Fair in July, and at the Western Idaho Fair in August. Members will enter goats, sheep, cows, pigs, ducks, wood working, metal working and even some leather craft, and invite everyone to go see them at the fairs.
