Services for Pfc Shane G. Wilson to be held Tuesday

Pfc Shane G. Wilson

PFC Shane G. Wilson, 20, of Kuna, Idaho, died October 18, 2012, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Khost, Afghanistan.  PFC Wilson was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Shane was born on August 14, 1992 in Everett, Washington.  He is a 2011 graduate of  Kuna High School, and looked forward to serving his country upon graduation.

Shane is survived by his Mother, Danielle DeMarco (Kuna), Father, Greg Wilson  (Portland, OR), sisters Shelby Wilson and Sydney DeMarco, and his nephew Bradley.  Shane is also survived by a large extended family of great-grandparents, grandparents, a step-father, uncles, aunts, and cousins residing in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, California, Hawaii, and Montana.

A memorial service in Shane’s honor will be on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. at Ten Mile Christian Church, located at 3500 W Franklin Rd., Meridian.  Shane will be laid to rest in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
