Marion Louise James, also known as Granny Boo (Boo), 96, of Melba, Idaho passed away December 16, 2012, in an assisted living facility in Meridian. Boo was born December 14, 1916, in Mount Pleasant, Utah, to Rex and Roxy Jensen. When prompted in her later years how she was doing, she replied, “I ask God for another 20 years” and continue socializing without hesitation with a smile on her face. Throughout her life Boo approached each day eagerly with her red lipstick and black eyeliner in hand, a cooking utensil in the other and a smile on her face. When she wasn’t cooking or tending to her family, she found great joy in playing melodies on the piano.
She shared her love of music with her family whenever she had the opportunity. She also traveled many places including: Fiji, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Europe.
