Melba Planning and Zoning renewed three of the four positions on the board this month.
Janice Chaney and Ron Mitchell will stay on as city representatives and Steve Bills will remain as area of impact representative.
However, June Miller has retired her post as the second area of impact representative after one term, and Planning and Zoning needs to fill that position as soon as possible.
Requirements for the position are fairly simple, according to City Clerk Noni Stapleton. Potential candidates must have lived in Canyon County for the past two years, live in the impact area and have a desire to serve on the board.
The impact area covers from the north to south beginning on the south side of Melba Road to the north side of Butte Road and east to west starting at the west side of Can-Ada Road to the east side of Powerline Road and the imaginary line that continues that road up the hill.
The appointment is for a three year term with the city. Contact city hall for more information at 495-2722.
