Kuna’s ‘Whiskey Creek Band’ Plays at Governor’s Ball

Whiskey Creek Band played at the Governor’s Ball again this year.

The Kuna-based Whiskey Creek Band played Jan. 5, for a second consecutive year, at the Governor’s Ball in Boise.

Cody McKinney, a 2005 graduate of Kuna High School (Lead Vocals/Guitar), along with his dad, Bob McKinney (Fiddle/Guitar) formed the band back in 2006 and since have added Dave Stewart of Twin Falls (Drummer), Bill Parsons, Boise (Bass) and Earl Hughes, Boise (Steel guitar/Banjo).

The Whiskey Creek Band has played all over Kuna and the surrounding areas.
