Rose Y. Oki, 90, of Nampa, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born September 5, 1922, the middle child of Japanese immigrants. She spent her life working for the Jr. Simplot Company and her retirement chasing her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s many activities.
She always had a beautiful smile. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and her beloved son and daughter-in-law Steve and Tish Oki. She is survived by her granddaughter Megan & JJ Volkers and grandson Trent & Angela Oki, also by her great-grandchildren: Cheylah, Braden, and Carsten Volkers.
A private graveside remembrance will be held at her request. The family would like to thank her special friends Joyce and Lilian and all the wonderful staff at Sunny Ridge Rehab and Retirement Center in Nampa. Arrangements under the direction of Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
