The KHS Commons was filled with baskets full of different types of goodies donated for the live and silent auctions. There was plenty to bid on, from a beautiful knife set donated by Ducks Unlimited to a plane ride donated by the Hudson Family and even a Jet boat trip for 2 donated by the Kessling Family & John Whitney. Organizers even auctioned off some of the KHS wrestlers; the highest bidder will receive 4 hours of manual labor.
The auctioneer for the evening’s event was lifelong Kuna resident Chris Brown, known best for hosting benefit auctions such as this.
”I want to reward good behavior,” said Brown, adding he strongly supports Kuna athletes and wants to see them turn into fine young men and women.
There were about 20 silent auction items available, all donated by various citizens and local businesses, including Kuna Dental, which donated a dental cleaning, X-rays and exam.
A special thanks to Richard Durrant from Big D Ranch. Richard bought numerous auction items and his son, Neil Durrant (2001 Kuna State Wrestling Champ), bought the landscape package donated by the Kidds Family & Cloverdale Nursery.
