2013 Kuna Easter Egg Hunt

10:07 am March 7th, 2013

It’s that time of year again! It’s time to get ready for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. First I would like to thank all the people who have helped me over the years to help make this a success. The list includes my family, friends, local businesses, community members, also the Kuna Lions Club, City of Kuna, and the Kuna School Dist. for allowing us to move the Hunt to the High School when we outgrew the City Park.

This is my 21st year organizing this event. It has grown from approx. 150 kids to well over1, 000 kids ages 10 and under, what a sight to see! If you have never witnessed this event I invite you to come watch. The fields are filled with around 10,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes. What takes hours & hours (gathering prizes, stuffing eggs, & “hiding” them) to prepare, only takes the children 5 to 10 minutes to gather.

This year’s Hunt will be Saturday the 30th of March at the Kuna High School Football and Soccer Fields. Start time is 10:00a.m.sharp. DON’T BE LATE!!

We are asking for your help to keep this tradition going for our kids. Cost for the candy and prizes keep rising and donations keep dropping, which has made it increasingly difficult to put together each year. Any cash donations would be greatly appreciated. Please send your donations to Sheri Russell P.O. Box 250, Kuna Idaho 83634, or bring them to 452 Main St Kuna (Myers Real Estate Office). You can also call Sheri at 922-3838 for more information.

You can also help by coming to our egg stuffing party on Monday night the 18th of March 6:30 pm at the Community Hall (next to Jackson’s).

Thank You,

 Sheri Russell
