J & M Sanitation, City of Kuna, Ada County and Pacific Steel and Recycling are sponsoring the Kuna Clean-Up Project on Saturday May 11.
The organizations involved ask the citizens to help protect your health and the health of our environment. Take this opportunity to dispose of your hazardous and non-hazardous wastes safely.
J&M Sanitation will offer free curbside trash removal for businesses and residents inside the boundaries of Hubbard Road, Kuna-Meridian Road, King Road and Ten Mile Road if placed curbside by 8 a.m. on May 11th.
Dead washers, dryers and refrigerators (cost of $10 per refrigerator, limit of 2) and hazardous wastes may be dropped off in the lot behind Kuna City Park on Saturday May 11 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Tires will be collected behind the park, as well, for a charge.
Passenger/motorcycle/ATV tires will be $2.00 each of they are off the rim and $4.25 if they are still on the rim.
Light truck tires $2.50 off rim and $4.25 on the rim.
Large truck tires $8.00 off the rim and $16.00 on the rim.
Farm tires and large old tires are negotiable.
Chemicals, fertilizers, paint, used motor oil (5 gallons or smaller containers), used oil filters, car and household batteries, cleaners, solvents, latex and oil based paint (5 gallons or smaller containers, oil based paint limited to 5 gallons per household), anti-freeze, turpentine, pesticide and herbicides, television and computer monitors will also be
