Elite Systems specializes in servicing, repairing and replacing of furnaces and air conditioners, including warrantee work. They are most known for their $146 annual maintenance contracts that include two scheduled visits a year, all filter replacements and free diagnostic calls.
“We prefer doing the maintenance work on existing units and establishing long term relationships,” said owner Loren Bailey.
Loren and his wife Robin Bailey started Elite Systems 10 years ago out of the back of their truck. As they grew they moved to their garage, then to a small office in Nampa, and finally a year ago moved back to Kuna at their current location on Main Street.
“We love it here,” said Loren. “We’ve had quite a few calls and even a few walk-ins just because we’re right here on Main Street.”
Loren is a native of Kuna and a member of the 12 Year Club. Since returning to Kuna, they’ve looked for opportunities to serve their neighbors. Last year they formed their own food drive to raise food for the Kuna food bank and this year they entered the Kuna Lions Club’s Chili Cook-off and won first place.
“Now that we’re back we plan to get much more involved in the community,” said Robin.
In addition, Loren and Robin are the owners of Bailey’s Berries, a pick-your-own raspberry farm located at the corner of Stroebel and Kuna Mora Road. People from all around drive out to pick what they want and get 100 percent natural products for a lower price found at grocery stores.
“We want our customers to experience what it’s like to work on a farm,” said Loren
The Baileys continue to add to their product line. This year they will be offering Baileys All Natural Honey from bees raised right on their farm. The honey is neither pasteurized nor filtered.
“That helps your body build up its natural immunities toward allergies of local pollens,” said Robin.
They even sell eggs to a handful of customers that Loren delivers to every Saturday morning. Next year they plan to add strawberries grown in a unique manner that will make it easier for their customers to pick.
“Elite Systems pays the bills, but my passion is working the farm,”
