The 64th Meridian Dairy Princess Pageants will be held on Tuesday, June 18th at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Meridian, Idaho. here will be a Jr. and a Sr. Pageant this year.
The Meridian Dairy Jr. Princess Pageant will start at 1:00pm. Candidates for this pageant must be ages 13-14. The Jr. candidates are: Johanna Kasper: Johanna is a 14 year old 8th grader from Melba. She enjoys skiing, softball, and helping out at her church. She shows dairy heifers, beef steers, and her Australian Shepherd named Jack at the local fairs.
Rachel Gabbert: Rachel is a 13 year old 8th grader from Nampa. She enjoys photography, singing, song writing, and volunteering. She is also active in the Leo club at her school.
Ashton Shaul: Ashton is a 13 year old 7th grader from Meridian. She enjoys reading, writing different forms of literature, camping, swimming, and running. She is also involved in the Meridian Optimist Club and has helped out at their Casino Night, Chili Feed, and Easter Egg Hunt. Ashton shows dairy heifers and Angus steers at the fairs.
Cheyenne Rumsey: Cheyenne is a 13 year old 7th grader in Nampa. She enjoys snowboarding, skiing, volleyball, and riding horses. She also plays on a softball club team in Kuna. Cheyenne has raised a dairy heifer, a market lamb, and a market steer to show at the local fairs.
Kendra Evans: Kendra is a 13 year old 8th grader from Emmett. She enjoys reading, basketball, and spending time with her rabbits and cattle. She is also very active in the community by being a part of Rachel’s Challenge, the National Jr. Honor Society, and 4-H.
The Meridian Dairy Sr. Princess Pageant will start at 7:00pm. Candidates for this pageant must be ages 15-17. The Sr. candidates are:
Kasie Anthony: Kasie is a 15 year old sophomore from Kuna. She enjoys working with her dad on the golf course, farming, taking care of her animals, hunting and fishing. She has chosen pigs for her FFA supervised agriculture experience.
Courtney Pape: Courtney is a 17 year old senior from Kuna. She enjoys singing, dancing, playing the piano, sewing, drawing, working with children, and acting. She was a member of ActIII, Kuna’s advanced drama class as well as a cheerleader for 3 years.
Lace Mather: Lace is a 17 year old Junior from Nampa. She enjoys playing basketball and helping foster children in foster care. She is also very active in her church and has gone on mission trips to Arizona and Mexico.
Jana Loutzenhiser: Jana is a 17 year old Junior from Middleton. She is very active in the Middleton FFA and was just elected Chapter Vice-President. She is working with her chapter to become more involved in the community by implementing a “Birthday for Seniors” program.
Kristin Nesbitt: Kristin Nesbitt is a 15 year old freshman from Eagle. She enjoys running cross country and is active in MYAC, EHS Key Club, Meridian FFA, Ada County Ambassadors, 4-H, and Girl Scouts. Her 4-H projects are Leadership, Dairy, Sheep, Market Goats, Horses, and Quilting.
Carli Ashley: Carli is a 16 year old sophomore from Kuna. She enjoys teaching young people and helping them learn about the importance of the dairy industry through the Kuna FFA and babysitting experiences.
Mikaela Malnar: Mikaela is a 16 year old junior from Boise. She enjoys spending time with her family, doing activities outdoors, and playing with her pets. She is active in the National Junior Honor Society, her 4-H club, and Meridian FFA where her project is dairy cattle.
