Frederick (Rick) Alden Davis, of Kuna, Idaho passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday, August 12, 2013 at St. Alphonsus in Boise, Idaho.
Rick was born November 10, 1970 to Ron Davis and Betty Jo Edmonds in Nampa, Idaho.
Rick was a passionate, giving man who loved music, golf, fish¬ing, hunting, riding dirt bikes, throwing darts and playing a friendly, but competitive game of horseshoes with his dad.
One of Rick’s greatest moments was when his daughter Alexandria Jade Davis, born September 22, 1999 came into his life. He loved her tremendously, always talked and bragged about her. She was always on his mind.
Rick was an accomplished man at anything he set his mind to. He started his own construction business and along with his father built Ron and his wife Ruby’s beautiful home in Kuna. Many others in the valley live in lovely homes built by him. He had an uncanny ability to learn and absorb anything he set his mind to. He was a self-taught computer genius. He built many for his friends and family. Who will come running now to fix them when we mess them up?
Everyone that knew Rick loved his infectious laugh, beaming smile and spontaneity. We even loved and accepted that he was always right, even when he was wrong! It didn’t matter; we just wanted to be around him. (He only admitted out loud to being wrong once!)
Rick had so much more love and knowledge to offer. He will always be deeply missed.
Rick is survived by his daughter Alexandria Davis and her mother Diana Pon, his father Ron Davis (Ruby), mother Betty Jo Edmonds (Dick), Sisters Shawna Carter (John) and Tonya Davis, his fiancée Christina Day and her four children, many cousins, nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
We all love you Rick and will forever cherish you.
A memorial service for Rick will be held at Calvary Chapel, 757 E. Stagecoach Road, Kuna, Idaho on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to a college fund for his daughter Alexandria J. Davis at US Bank, Kuna, ID branch.
