The new Ridley’s will open with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 14. The long anticipated second grocery store located in Kuna at the corner of Deer Flat Road and Meridian Road is approximately 60,000 square feet. It is one of the largest of all their stores according to Mark Ridley. Employing about 75 locals along with a handful of managers relocating from other locations the store is also the first with a full service Starbucks and expanded bulk foods department.
Also inside will be a full service pizza department for dine in or take-n-bake. A expanded café will serve hamburgers and sandwiches with indoor and outdoor seating including an upstairs mezzanine dining area. Ridley also says that the store will have one of the largest product departments in the state.
As part of the complex, a
full service Ace Hardware will have sporting goods, fishing and hunting supplies, guns and ammunition.
Other retailers are planning on filling out the complex over the next couple of years but none have made their announcements as of yet.
Once open, Mark Ridley says they will be continuing to donate to local schools and charities including local food banks.
