Emma Young, a second grader at Hubbard Elementary, collected over 60 coats during November for needy kids. Area businesses assisted Emma with the efforts. Kuna Lube ‘N Go ran a special to help gather coats at their location. Sherri Russel hung flyers in her front windows. And Emma and a friend created flyers and spent afternoons going door to door and gathering hand-me-down coats. For her efforts, Emma was presented with a certificate from Dress ‘em up by Theresa Bruening.
In a letter to Emma, Kuna Lube ‘N Go owner Jason Ashby wrote, “Your efforts are making Kuna a better place.”
