Two stoves and commercial sinks were installed for the current pie baking business. The current owners have kept the original doorways, crown molding and kitchen shelves, maintaining the integrity of the house.
Fredda, a Kuna High School graduate, started selling her delicious pies at the Farmer’s Market when the market was held in the Sandstone parking lot. They were so popular that she literally sold them from the trunk of her car because people were lined up to buy them. Her hobby has turned into a full-fledged business.
Darin, with 29 years of experience as a goldsmith, creates beautiful custom jewelry, and sells a wide selection of necklaces, earrings, and knives. He also repairs jewelry, replaces watch batteries, and buys scrap gold. Darin says his services are at affordable prices and the lowest in the valley.
This lovely store also has unique items for sale including collectible dolls and the line “Just Right Shoe” novelties, purses, and wedding gifts. You don’t need to go far to find that perfect present for that special someone at the Pie Face and Gold ‘n Craft store.
