At the February 18, 2014, Kuna City Council meeting, city Treasurer John Marsh presented the first quarter fiscal state of the city for the months October, 2013 through January, 2014. The overall financial state of the city is 23 percent greater in revenues than budgeted and expenditures were two percent below. He explained that the large revenue is due to a timing issue, a result of a large one -time donation that hit the books.
Councilmembers approved a motion to allocate $5,000 from the contingency fund to help pay for events centering around the Kuna 150 Anniversary and for the Kuna Year of the Kid celebrations.
