|Idaho Falls, ID – Conservative congressional candidate Bryan Smith raised $137,389 in the first fundraising quarter of 2014. Bryan Smith is challenging career politician Congressman Mike Simpson in the Republican primary in Idaho’s second congressional district.
“I am thankful for the overwhelming support my campaign has received. As I travel across the district, it is continually clear that Idaho’s second congressional district is ready for true conservative leadership in Washington rather than the liberal voting record of Congressman Simpson,” says Bryan Smith.
The Bryan Smith for Congress campaign has raised over $675,000 since entering the race in June, with 80 percent of the campaign’s contributions coming from individuals giving $200 or less. The campaign has over $445,000 cash on hand and has raised more than four times the amount raised by recent Republican challengers to Congressman Simpson.
