A number of our Senior Citizens really like our Field Trips, our Senior Bus provides them the opportunity to go out to lunch and visit places they ordinarily wouldn’t go. So far this month, they have gone to the Emmett Cherry Festival and Idaho City. On Thursday June 26th, they will be going to the Gowen Field Museum. If you ever want to join in, be sure to put your name down on the Field Trip list which is on our front desk.
On Monday 6/23, Humana Insurance is treating us to ROOT BEER FLOATS following our lunch. They are joining us for fun and not to discuss insurance, they will answer questions during the enrollment period which begins in October. I don’t remember the last time I had a root beer float – this sounds delicious!!!!
Wed. 6/25: One of our Seniors will speak to us about “Physical Fitness” prior to our noon meal. Joe has been featured in newspapers in regards to his healthy life style, when you see him you will know he is on the right track. What I like about Joe is he isn’t preachy or pushy, he is friendly and easy to visit with and he likes to shoot pool.
ACTIVITIES IN THE CENTER:
