This week the Kuna Park Ranger program took off. Through this program children around Kuna are given the opportunity to become involved in learning and exploring the parks system and then educating their friends and families on what they have learned. The Rangers will learn about Kuna history, outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing, plants and animals, first aid and many other exciting topics. Through this program Parks and Rec hopes to encourage kids to respect and take pride in their parks and community. The Ranger Program is new to Kuna and we hope with its success to make more programs available in the future.
If you see one of the Kuna Parks and Rec Rangers be sure to ask them about what they are learning. They will be happy to share and you might even learn something new. There are still a few spots available in the program. Please contact Bobbi at firstname.lastname@example.org or 936-8769 for more information.
