Dusti Olson, 23-years-old from Kuna, was named Miss Rodeo Idaho 2015 at the Snake River Stampede on July 16, 2014 as part of the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night. The daughter of Doug and Tammy Olson and sponsored by the Idaho Cattle Association, Dusti will begin her year-long stint visiting other circuit rodeos around the country and competing in the 2015 Miss Rodeo America.
“I am so excited to represent my state, the Snake River Stampede and the western way of life in 2015 in the exhilarating sport of PRCA rodeo across the United States taking Idaho with me, across my sash and in my heart,” she said.
She begins her tour in January, 2015 at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado and will attend over 50 rodeos including Cheyenne, Calgary, Pendleton and the 2015 National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 2014 Miss Rodeo Idaho, Hali Stutzman will still compete in this year’s National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas this December for the 2015 Miss Rodeo America title.
Both Olson and Stutzman were previous Caldwell Night Rodeo Queens prior to being named Miss Rodeo Idaho.
