The Relay For Life of Kuna is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor cancer survivors, raise awareness about what we can do to reduce our cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease. Relay For Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running around the Kuna High School track. The event is 12 hours long, and because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have at least one participant on the track at all times.
The very first Relay For Life of Kuna is next Friday, July 18th at 6pm at the Kuna High School track. Ends at 6am Saturday morning. This is a PUBLIC event, and even if community members aren’t signed up on a team to participate in the relay, they are encouraged to still come and join the fun! Dutch Bros will be there, providing free drinks! Any tips they get will be donated to the Relay For Life of Kuna. Some of the events taking place: Bouce house for kids, face painting, Zumbathon, Mr. Relay drag contest, Walgreens is hosting a frozen t-shirt contest at 2am, Scavenger hunt, photo booth, hair donations, and lots more! Activities will be held throughout the night to keep up the energy!
Survivor ceremony begins at 6:30–anyone who has or has had cancer is welcome to come register to participate in the special events. Dinner has been donated by Noodles and Co.
