Well it’s that time of year everybody. Kuna Days is just two weeks away. Kuna Days is being presented by our city’s own Kuna Lions Club and they have a lot planned for this years event.
We will have vendors and live music in the park, the annual car show, the FREE kids carnival, the Chamber of Commerce parade, the concert and dance hosted by Cowgirls, the Boy Scouts pancake breakfast, and wrapping up with the best fireworks show in the valley.
Just so everyone knows Kuna Days is put together by a few volunteers who do this to give back to the community. We couldn’t make this happen without our generous support from our local sponsors. We are still in need of volunteers. We need help with crossing guards at the sidewalks to provide safety for everyone. We also need help with setting up and maintenance during the event.
If you are a Kuna organization that would like to help volunteer we still have a couple of fundraising spots still available in exchange for your help.
If you are a citizen that would like to help volunteer that would be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to donate, or are a local business that would like to sponsor the event that would be welcomed.
The only way this event continues every year is by volunteers and donations. If you can help please contact Pat Jones at Kunadaysvendors@cableone.net or call me at 703-3419. Your participation would be greatly appreciated. Hope to see you all there on August 1st and 2nd.
Editor’s Note: Kuna Melba News will publish Kuna Days Guide in the July 30, 2014 edition.
